Summer refreshing treats do not have to set you back in sugar or processed ingredients but can be made at home using a clean list of all natural ingredients without refined sugars!
Try our Ossa Fruit Cups boosted with essential amino acids and collagen protein from our pasture-raised gelatin. More than just nutritious, using bloomed gelatin makes these ice cups slow melt, meaning less dripping and it gives them a delicious creamy texture.
Ingredients
-
1 Tbsp Ossa Gelatin
-
2 cups of cut fruit, we used strawberries, banana and mango
-
1/2 cup of organic orange juice (pressed not from concentrate)
Directions
Cut fruit into small pieces (without seeds or peel) and puree in a blender until you’ve obtained around two cups of juice/puree.
Soften the gelatin by adding it to a bowl with 1/4 cup of the fruit puree.
Meanwhile, in a saucepan, heat around 3/4 cup of the fruit puree over low to medium heat. As it starts to get warm, add in the softened gelatin and stir until it is well dissolved.
Remove the saucepan from the heat, and stir in the remaining fruit puree and juice.
Pour the mixture into popsicle molds or cups and freeze for 3 hours.
Remove from the molds and serve. If you are having a hard time getting the gelatin popsicles out of the molds, you can run them under warm running water for a few seconds before pulling them out.
